In the early hours of the morning, the clocks went back an hour and, with the end of Summer Time, we are now into the tail end of the year.

This is the view looking south from the Round Tower in Copenhagen with the main shopping street of Købmagergade curving down to Amager Torv and the Walking Street.

Just to the right of centre is the tower and spire of Nikolaj Kirke and to the right Borgen and to the left, on the horizon, the yellow lights of the bridge over the Øresund and the bright white lights on the far left side are almost-certainly the lights of Malmö.
