Maker’s Dimensions shows final projects by fifteen students who graduated this summer from the Royal Academy Crafts schools for glass and ceramics on the island of Bornholm.

Around the core theme of recycling and reusing materials, the exhibition has been curated by Helen Clara Hemsley and Else-Rikke Bruun with the work of 16 artists with works in wood, ceramics, textiles, raw clay, paper and precious metals.

A brilliant show with all the humour and the self parody you would expect from CLAYDIES …. where else would you be encouraged to have your photograph taken behind a ceramic string vest or with your head stuck through a large ceramic ring like a horse collar?
But underneath is a very real understanding of ceramic techniques and very real skill - some of these pots are really large and must have been a headache to fire - and there is a clever and broad range of glazes exploited for different strong colours and different effects through textures. You can’t take a gentle dig at your craft unless you have mastered it completely.
This is also, of course, a brilliant dig at the selfie obsession. It’s that old fairground or end-of-the-pier seaside attraction of having your photo taken by a street photographer but with your face stuck through a hole in a picture of a very very large lady wearing a striped bathing costume next to a scrawny little husband so your face replaces hers. Here there is a patterned jumper - in clay - to stand behind or a pottery bobble hat.
With the big bold ceramics set against strong colours, this is where pop art meets pots.

Thirty-five works by cabinetmakers', many working in collaboration with designers and architects working with a theme this year that focuses on climate change and sustainability. There are experiments with new materials, designs that reassess how established materials are used and could be re-used and there are designs that focus on reworking ideas to make them relevant to the way we have to live now and how we may live in the near future. This is about makers understanding their chosen material to explore limits but also to produce beautiful and simple furniture of the very highest quality. After all, the easiest form of sustainability is to buy something we need but that we don't want to throw away.

An exhibition of new work by the furniture and spatial designer Clinton Stewart that is “an exploration, and observation of the way that we embrace and create associations with images and objects that we interact with.”
The Biennale is a major exhibition for craft in Denmark and with a prestigious award that was announced on 25 April.
Projects, on a theme of Community, were submitted to a selection committee with an open call and 18 projects were chosen for this exhibition at Nordatlantens Brygge in Copenhagen.
The work of five designers who took part in a series on Danish television that sought to find new designs that could become design classics in the coming years. Sketches, models and finished furniture - tables, side chairs, easy chairs, sofas and pendant lights by each designer and audio-visual interviews all explore the process of design.

This is the first exhibition on the completion of a major project to restore the entrance screen of the forecourt, relay the cobbles of the square to form a ramp rather than steps to the entrance; add five new outdoor display cases and form a new ticket entrance area and cafe in the street level of the pharmacy pavilion of the old hospital.

The Cabinetmakers' Autumn Exhibition. The theme for this exhibition is 'Petité' as in refined and elegant. Works had to be free standing and restricted in size to less than 60 x 60 cm. The exhibition will also been shown at Maison du Danemark, Avenue Champs-Élysées in Paris from 27 January to 3 April 2016.
Works by ten artists, architects and designers shown in a private apartment in Copenhagen.
This is a dramatic exhibition and not just for the pieces in the show - the venue in a warehouse out at the Carlsberg site in Copenhagen is quite something.
