onecollection

Onecollection are based in Ringkøbing and were founded in 1990 by Ivan Hansen and Henrik Sørensen who describe themselves as furniture nerds. The manufacturing company was known initially as Hansen & Sørensen but changed its name to Onecollection in 2007.

They have worked with a range of designers and design studios including Henrik Tengler and Søren Holst and with Salto and Sigsgaard for a prestigious commission to design new chairs for the Council Chamber of the headquarters of the United Nations in New York.

Along with these new designs, Onecollection have restarted production of classic designs by major designers of the 20th century including works by Nanna Ditzel and in the late 1990s they worked with Hanne Wilhelm, the widow of Finn Juhl, who initially asked them to manufacture a single version of the 57 Sofa. This was soon followed by renewed production of the Poeten Sofa and the Pelikan Chair and Onecollection now have the rights to all Juhl’s furniture designs producing currently 20 pieces including the Chieftains Chair, the Kaufmann Table and the Sideboard and Tray Unit.
