Yesterday, walking along the bank of the lakes, I came across another painted gable and the low position of the sun at this time of year was good for a photograph. Actually over the last couple of months I had walked along Sortedam Dossering several times but always heading north so had walked past the front of the house and not looked back to see its gable facing in the direction that I was heading. This time I was heading south and the gable end was the first thing I saw. You see different things in a street when you walk along it the other way or on the other pavement or in a different light. It takes a lot of walking and a lot of looking to begin to see a city.
The second gable is slightly further out of the centre on Søllerødgade - a block left of Nørrebrogade and near Nørrebroparken.
